Expertise
and Ethics in consulting, Education and Therapy
Glantz/Richman Rehabilitation
Associates is a local, therapist run organization which prides
itself in offering quality, ethical service. We, the owners, Coralie
"Corky" Glantz OT/L, BCG, FAOTA and Nancy Richman OTR/L,
FAOTA started working in the field forty-three (43) years ago
and, twenty-five (25) years ago incorporated into Glantz/Richman
Rehabilitation Associates.
Our corporation has been steadily growing
and expanding to meet the needs and demands of the populations
we service in hospitals, schools, clinics, nursing facilities,
assisted living facilities and retirement homes. The challenge
is one that we accept with enthusiasm. Our commitment to excellence
in service begins with the quality and expertise of our therapists
who receive ongoing education at monthly educational modules, as well
as through other specialized presentations and seminars.
Our staff consists
of approximately 100 therapists - occupational therapists, physical
therapists, speech/language pathologists, recreational therapists
and social workers, many who have been with us for many years.
Since we are both therapists, believe we understand what therapists
are looking for in their job situations. We strive to meet the
needs and desires of the individual therapists.
Human Values
In delivering therapy services, they believe in listening to the person to hear what is important to them and then helping them to attain those goals. Dignity and the quality of one's life are the basis of the services they provide. Being therapists themselves helps them to focus on the needs of the individual first and the business aspects of their organization second. They interview every therapist personally to make sure that they share the same beliefs and values.
Each of our therapists working for Glantz/Richman Rehabilitation Associates is a unique individual with different needs and personalities. We strive to address and satisfy these unique needs. We do everything in our power to design work hours and a work situation that is both convenient and gratifying for the individual therapist. This has played a role in retaining our therapists for long periods of time.
Ethics
Good ethics have been the foundation and are the core of Glantz/Richman Rehabilitation Associates. Corky and Nancy are very involved professionally both locally and nationally, holding offices at the state and national level so that they have a broad base to promote honest, ethical practice. Increasing the quality of life of their clients to the highest possible level is their mission.
