Course Description The Minimum Data Set (MDS) and the Prospective Payment System (PPS) undergo periodic changes. An understanding of both systems is essential to coordinate therapy delivery systems in the most efficient manner and for appropriate reimbursement. This workshop will address organized and practical methods for therapists to implement and track the components of PPS and to audit the requirements of the MDS and PPS systems. We will also review the draft of the forthcoming MDS 3.0.

- Documentation review of recording systems.
At the conclusion of this presentation the participants will:
- Identify the changes in the current MDS and how it impacts therapy.
- Be able to implement and track PPS minutes of treatment in an organized manner.
- Understand the ramifications of the 3.0 draft revision to the MDS.
